When traveling to India do I need a visa?

You can now get an Indian Tourist  Visa through an online application which usually takes 4 days to process.  No intermediary or agents are required.  You will be given a Visa number by email which you print out and take with you to India.  There is a special line at the airport for e-Visa tourists where your passport will be stamped.   Go to   Click on e-Visa.  Please read instructions carefully.  You would apply for a 6 month or even 5 or 10 year Visa if you wish.  Ask for MULTIPLE ENTRY.

You can also choose to go through an intermediary where the process can take upto 2 weeks and additional costs of about $109 extra for their services.  The company is Travisa.

United Airlines offers a direct flight to Delhi from New York. You will be flying in to ARRIVE in Delhi on February 24, 2018 evening.  You are welcome to arrive earlier but your first night of included accommodation will be the nite of February 24, 2018. Your final night of included accommodations is March 9, 2018.  YOU HAVE A FULL DAY ON MARCH 10, so make sure your flight leaves on EVENING of March 10 or early the next morning of March 11.
